FIFA World Cup 2018: Sweden in Quarter Finals, Switzerland out

_102315300_047911160-1.jpgSweden has made it to the quarterfinals of World Cup football by defeating Switzerland in a match played on Tuesday.

The only goal of the match was made by Emile Forsberg of Sweden in the second half.

It was a match in which the players lost many opportunities to score goals. Albin Awal of Sweden lost an easy chance to score Switzerland’s players also missed many chances.

Switzerland had to play only with 10 players in the injury time. Michael Lang was dropped out of the ground due to pushing Martin Olsen.

The referee had given the first penalty but after the review, decided to give a free kick.

Sweden has made it to the last eight teams of the World Cup football for the first time since 1994.

Sweden has won two consecutive wins in the World Cup for the first time since 1958. Sweden first made it to the final in 1958, winning the quarterfinals and semi-finals.

The Sweden team was ahead of the Netherlands in the qualifying group. Sweden had defeated Italy in the play-off to make the World Cup place. He had a strong team like Germany in the group stage, but Sweden was the top of the group.

At the same time, the Swiss team has never won a knockout match in the World Cup so far.

However, during the past four World Cup matches 15, Switzerland has faced just a fourth defeat. In three of these matches he lost by 1-0 margin.
