The Indian cricket team has started the tour of Ireland and England with the win.
India won by 76 runs in the first T20 match played with Ireland on Wednesday.
Earlier, the Indian batsmen, opening batsman Rohit Sharma (97) and Shikhar Dhawan (74) gave the target of 209 runs with the help of half-century shifts, following which the team lost 132 runs in nine overs in 20 overs. Pie

Ireland, after winning the toss, decided to field first, but it did not prove to be right for them.
Opening batsmen gave India a fantastic start. Rohit Sharma scored 97 runs in 61 balls including 5 sixes and 8 fours. Dhawan scored 74 runs in 45 balls with the help of five sixes and five fours. The partnership lasted till the 16th over.
The first wicket fell in the form of Shikhar Dhawan, after which Suresh Raina got his cat from the fifth ball of the 18th over. At that time he was playing with 10 runs.
After this, Mahendra Singh Dhoni used to bat but he also scored 11 runs to take a catch off Chelsea for Thompson.
