Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing on Sunday, visiting China for a meeting of the Shanghai Corporation Organizations (SCO).
Between the two leaders, regional and international issues related to improving bilateral relations and mutual interests were discussed.
In a joint press conference after the meeting, Sushma Swaraj said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to China on 27th and 28th of this month and participate in informal summit in Wohan. He said that he will meet Chinese President Shi Jinping during this time.

In this meeting in Wohan, there will be discussions about the relationship between India and China and our responsibility in establishing peace in the world, due to changes in the world between the two countries.
Earlier, it was informed that the Prime Minister was scheduled to join the SCO’s head of state’s meeting in June this year.

Sushma Swaraj also told that it has been agreed with China that the visit of Kailash Manasarovar to Nathula this year will start again and this year the journey will be organized from here.
He said that in 2018, China has again agreed to share data related to Sutlej and Brahmaputra river with India. It makes it easy to get estimates about flooding in the river.
It has also been agreed in both the countries that for development it is necessary to maintain peace on the border and there will be no controversy.
